i heart the ccc library system

so, a benefit of living in contra costa county, surprisingly, is the library system. unlike oakland, where you start getting charged after ordering 15 or so books from other branches, the ccc library system doesn't charge you anything at all... even after you have a hold/order summary that looks like this

i'm SO. FREAKING. EXCITED.

hurrah for winter break.

p.s. i find it amusing that the author of the seahorse book has the last name "scales". i mean, i know seahorses don't have scales (though apparently some people really don't know what sea horses look like, as expressed here); i just find the marine theme extremely satisfying.

p.p.s. also. this. ahahhahahaha.

that's a lot of books you have to pick up. You better get on that.

also, this is pretty dumb, but i just assumed that all cities that only had one or two public libraries didn't have a central system by which to trade books. so if you were in a smaller city you were stuck with your books. whoops.
